That most have not heard of Colleen Hoover tells us more about my twitter followers than anything else. If I were to describe them demographically, beyond identifying themselves in the poll’s question, I’d say they are a mix of authors, critics, and academics who read and/or write for “prestige” literary or scholarly publications. I would hazard that 100% of them would have answered yes if I had asked them if they who Hernan Diaz is.
