It's a big week for Belt Publishing. Heartland Fall Forum, the regional trade show for Midwest independent booksellers, is being held in our home, Cleveland. When we learned, a year ago, that Heartland was headed to Cleveland, I decided we would do it up, and put a fair amount of time and resources into the conference. This is what that has looked like:

--For our two lead Spring 2020 titles, we pushed to make sure we had galleys ready on time for the conference, to give away to booksellers. As I've written about before, this sort of intense lead time is not my preference, but I bowed to the system. Thanks to two incredibly hardworking authors, two on-the-ball editors, two spot-on designers, and a printer who worked quickly, we pulled it off. ARCs/galleys of Rust Belt Femme and Midwest Futures have arrived in our office, ready to give away to interested booksellers attending Heartland.

--We bought a table to display our titles, and lots of badges for our staff to attend.
